The boarding passes were not all together with my minor and I boarded in A with my older daughter boarding in C. You can bet I saved a seat!!

Not all people are saving a seat because they are cheating.

I did hear about seat saving from one of the crew. In fact she was hoping they’d just bring in seat allocation.

Every time I pay for A upgrade, there ends up being a lot of pre boards (fine) and then a few people who are one person of a larger group who then try to save rows of seats for their c group family. Southwest let’s this happen and just tries to stay neutral by saying we don’t assign seats they’re first come first serve. They shouldn’t be allowed to be saved tho, wasted money each upgrade and still got crap seats.
